This is "Evergreen" at anchor off of Salt Mountain Provincial Park. We landed here in order to climb Salt Mountain.

This the the view from the top of Salt Mountain. As you can see, weather was moving in.

This is the harbor of Whycocomagh with "Evergreen" at anchor and another classic sailboat out for a day sail.

Unlike Newfoundland, the vegetation flourished here.

Out for a day sail:

We think that the coast guard budget must have been low when they placed this navigational marker --- it it the smallest one we have ever seen.

We visited a harbor at the base of Marble Mountain. Some of the local waterfront homes had protected their shorelines with blocks of marble, instead of the standard granite or other rock.
