Today we head west from Ramea.

As we sail along the coast the elevation of the coastal terrain becomes lower.

This is the view of Duck Island, from our anchorage:

Looking West:

Looking inland over the tundra-like climate:

We rewarded with the sighting of a young Caribou. There were also several Bald Eagles in the area.

After grazing for a while the Caribou made itself comfortable on the exposed seaweed along the shore.

In the morning we spotted a Caribou swimming along the shore.

We also spotted another, older Caribou, with a big rack.

He also lay down among the rocks, along the shore.
