We rose and got an early start westward towards Port Au Basques. Numerous tropical depressions were moving north from the tropics so we decided that we needed to keep moving. Consequently, we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.
This is the harbor at Port Au Basques. Live music was still being played each afternoon at the harbor amphitheater. It was joy to listen to.
We refueled "Evergreen" and evaluated the weather forecasts, in anticipation of crossing the Cabot Strait. We hated to leave Newfoundland but we felt that the weather was getting increasingly unsettled.
